Drone delivers coffee to Oregon boaters

ROCKAWAY BEACH, Ore., June 21 (UPI) -- An Oregon drone enthusiast demonstrated a practical use for the device by using it to deliver coffee to a couple in a boat.

The video posted to YouTube by user Keepingitbasic shows a couple going out in a row boat in Rockaway Beach, Ore.

A drone then takes off from shore and uses fishing line and some sticks to carry a travel cup of coffee through the air.

The delivery is safely made without any spillage.

"This video shows what a few sticks and some fishing line can do. Don't try this at home. All parties had been warned that they could have had scalding hot coffee dropped on them without warning," the video's description reads.
