Automatic fetch toy makes world's happiest dog jump for joy

TORONTO, June 17 (UPI) -- A Toronto rescue dog is becoming a viral star after his owner posted footage of him gleefully using an automatic fetch toy.

The video, which Rennie Berchard posted to Buddy the Rescue Dog's Facebook page, shows Buddy dropping a tennis ball into the top of the GoDogGo automatic fetch toy and joyously jumping up and down as the device prepares to launch the ball.

Buddy runs as the machine makes a noise and skillfully snatches it out of the air before bringing it back to the toy for a second round.

"Once he learned how to actually play with it and use it himself, he just became very excited by it," Berchard told ABC News. "He's just thrilled that he can do it on his own, and I think that's the overall excitement for him. But he loves the anticipation."
