Cat's Roomba ride ends when vacuum flees under chair

VICTORIA, British Columbia, June 14 (UPI) -- A clever Canadian cat was filmed taking a ride on his family's Roomba, but the feline found himself ultimately outsmarted by the device.

The video, posted to YouTube by user Harmsh, shows Mu the cat taking a ride around his owner's home on the back of a robotic Roomba vacuum cleaner.

The Roomba bounces off multiple walls and pieces of furniture while Mu casually wags his tail from side to side on his perch.

The feline's free ride comes to a premature end when the vacuum drives itself underneath a dining room chair, which is too low for the cat to fit.

Mu is knocked off the Roomba and sulks away while the device continues to clean.
