Banks' mother was angry to discover a baggie containing what appeared to be multicolored pills in a plastic baggie in her daughter's drawer.
"Ashley Carol I will not have drugs in my house. Come home right now. As soon as your dad comes home from California we will discuss your consequences. As for now [you're] grounded and you will not be leaving the house, come home this instant," the mother texted.
Banks responded with laughing emoji and told her mother to try putting the "drugs" in water.
The embarrassed parent soon sent a photo of the result -- the apparent pills had expanded into dinosaur sponges.
"Never mind. You don't have to come home," the mother texted.
"Why on earth would you buy these? I thought you were 16 not 7?" Banks' mother asked.
"IDK they looked cool," was Banks' only explanation.
