NAVARRE BEACH, Fla., June 7 (UPI) -- A Florida kayak fisherman captured footage of a spinner shark thrashing about on the end of his line and flipping through the air to free itself from the hook.

Brandon Barton posted a video to Instagram showing his Saturday struggle with the spinner shark about a mile off the coast of Navarre Beach.

The shark can be seen repeatedly flipping through the air in an attempt to shake itself free from the fishing line.

"I did my best to keep this crazy shark out of my kayak. It finally broke me off on its final set of spins," Barton wrote online.
