Annoyed buffalo chases lion away from tourists in India

GIR NATIONAL PARK, India, June 6 (UPI) -- Tourists visiting a forest in India captured footage of a fed-up buffalo showing its distaste for a female lion by charging at her and chasing her into the trees.

The video shows the Asiatic lioness wandering near vehicles packed with tourists June 5 in the Gir National Park and watching the people from the side of the dirt road.

A buffalo soon makes a sudden appearance and charges straight for the lioness, ignoring the tourists snapping photos with their cameras.

The lioness, apparently uninterested in a fight, flees into the trees with the buffalo in hot pursuit.
