Student driver's gold-plated Maserati gets parking ticket in London

LONDON, June 2 (UPI) -- A student driver in London managed to add to the cost of their gold-plated Maserati supercar by earning a ticket with a poor parking job.

The gold-plated car was spotted Wednesday parked on a London street with the front end protruding from the white lines designating the parking space.

The vehicle bore "L plates," which denote the presence of a learner -- or student -- driver, on its front and back.

The uploader said the Maserati incurred a ticket for its poor parking job.
