Sergio the duck has won over the hearts of students at Suntree Elementary after surviving a class experiment gone wrong. The school's sixth graders traditionally hatch chicken eggs, but decided to switch to ducks this year and Sergio was the only survivor out of a total of 40 eggs hatched. Sergio's miraculous story made him a quite popular fixture in the classroom, earning him his own Instagram page and a group of fans in the class who referred to themselves as "The Sergio Squad." The students walked alongside Sergio at their graduation ceremony and several said they would return to the school to visit him next year. "Not many people have a duck as a pet," Audino said. "He is Suntree's duck!" Read More Teen's missing boutonniere pin found in prom date's bronchial tube Deer captured in downtown Chicago parking garage 'Driving gator' removed from trapper's dashboard
