MONTREAL, May 25 (UPI) -- A Quebec drone enthusiast with a passion for "Internet firsts" shared video of his latest feat: using his drone to catch goldfish from a public pond.

David Freiheit of Montreal took his quadcopter drone to a public park in the city and attempted to perform an "Internet first" -- a label he previously applied to using his drone to catch another out of the air -- by using it to catch goldfish.

Freiheit's initial attempts, using a makeshift net, failed to yield any fish, leading him to try again with a vegetable strainer attached with a string.

The strainer is successful in catching a single goldfish, which Freiheit released.
