BILLINGS, Mont., May 24 (UPI) -- A Montana man shooting video of a hailstorm in Billings ended up documenting a porcine surprise: an escaped pig running down the sidewalk during the storm.

Rick Lindholm of Billings was filming the hail falling from the sky Saturday in Billings when the unexpected pig came running into his camera's frame.

"In the middle of a thunderstorm and what is this? It's a pig!" Lindholm exclaims, followed by amused laughter.

Carmella Tyrrell, the porker's owner, said in a Facebook post that Hamlet the mini pig escaped from his crate during the storm and went out for a run in the hail. She said the animal was recaptured by her son and was not injured by his time out among the elements.

"Hamlet is good. We were terrified when we saw him running down the sidewalk. My son came to his rescue," Tyrrell said.
