OAKLAND, Calif., May 24 (UPI) -- The California Highway Patrol shared video of the "slowest chase ever" involving a gaggle of baby geese that wandered into traffic on the interstate.

Troopers with the CHP's Oakland station said in a Facebook post that the "felonious fowl" attempted to cross Interstate 80 in Berkeley and the result was "our slowest chase ever."

A video attached to the post shows a CHP SUV following the goslings at an ultra-slow pace.

"After a nail biting pursuit, they were eventually channeled back into the bay, leaving nothing but a traffic jam in their wake," the CHP said.
