Rare gathering of black swans caught on camera in England

CORNWALL, England, May 9 (UPI) -- A rare gathering of black swans in Britain was caught on camera by a lucky beach-goer in southwestern England.

Charlotte Thomson captured video Saturday showing the rare flock of black swans "having a walk on the sand" at Portreach Beach.

Black swans are native to Australia, but some were brought to Britain as ornamental birds.

"Very rare to see them on a beach especially when so busy but a beautiful sight to see!" Thomson wrote.
