WHITE EARTH TOWNSHIP, Minn., May 9 (UPI) -- A Minnesota chicken owner captured video of the "girls" having a "backyard brawl" when they were unable to politely share a slice of pizza.
The video, posted to YouTube by user Ryatus Recordings, shows the brood of hens taking turns running off with the slice of pizza thrown to them by their owner.
The chickens shove and peck at one another in the battle for snack-time superiority.
The fighting land fowl are eventually able to rip the slice into several smaller pieces.
"We had a piece of pizza left over so I decided to give our girls a treat," the uploader wrote in the video's description. "They each started trying to get away with the whole piece for themselves. No chickens were harmed in the filming of this video."
