Australian dad invents DIY riding lawn mower for young son

TERRIGAL, Australia, May 9 (UPI) -- An Australian scientist took inspiration from his son's solar powered go-kart to create a DIY riding mower with three lawnmowers.

Jacob Strickling, star of the Make Science Fun channel on YouTube, posted a video showing how he was inspired to make his own riding lawn mower.

The video shows Strickling mowing his lawn when his 7-year-old son, Samuel, drives by in his solar-powered go-kart.

Strickling rigs three lawn mowers together behind the go-kart to create a do-it-yourself riding mower that his son can operate while dad kicks back with a beer.
