SEATTLE, May 6 (UPI) -- Seattle police said a couple investigating a broken window at their home discovered a drone had crashed into their house.

The Seattle Police Department said the couple, residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood, called police Thursday morning and reported hearing a window in their house break about 7:30 a.m.

The couple discovered the glass of their dining room window was broken.

Homeowner Wenjun Chen said her husband went outside to investigate.

"He thought it was a robin, a bird, so he walked back in and so no, it's something new," she told KING-TV. "I said what? And he said a drone!"

The drone had an affixed camera that was still recording.

Police said the drone was booked into evidence and investigators are seeking a warrant to review the camera footage and identify the owner.
