PERTH, Australia, April 25 (UPI) -- A stand-up paddleboarding class in Australia was called off due to the water being filled with hundreds of fast-flapping salmon seeking a meal.

The Elemental SUP group posted a video to Facebook showing the water at a Perth, West Australia, beach erupting with hundreds of salmon in a flapping frenzy Saturday.

The influx of supping salmon caused the group to cancel its stand-up paddleboarding class for the day.

"SUP was called off this morning when this happened," the post said.
