Crafty mink steals large fish from ice fisherman in Russia

STEFAN VODA, Russia, April 22 (UPI) -- An ice fisherman in Russia captured footage of a crafty mink stealing one of his fish and running off to make a meal of the catch.

The video, filmed earlier this year in western Russia's Suvorovskiy Rayon, shows the mink stealing a fish from the fisherman's pile and dragging it away.

The fisherman can be heard laughing while chasing after the furry thief.

The large fish proves challenging for the small mink and it drops it multiple times while trying to run with it.
