POINCIANA, Fla., April 18 (UPI) -- A Florida fire department shared photos from a rescue that involved a new twist on an old cliche -- a pet iguana trapped in a tree.
Polk County Fire Rescue posted photos to Facebook showing a firefighter climbing a ladder to rescue an iguana stuck on a high branch of a tree in Poinciana.
Firefighter Justin Mazzotta can be seen carefully grabbing the lizard while Lt. Scott Huff and Driver Engineer Matt Sleik assist from the ground.
"We serve the people of Polk County in many ways," the Facebook post said.
