Bag purporting to contain air from Kobe Bryant's last game listed for $4,599.99

LOS ANGELES, April 18 (UPI) -- A sandwich bag purporting to contain air from Kobe Bryant's last game as well as the NBA star's autograph was listed for nearly $4,600 on eBay.

User cardemon_huskers2015 created an eBay listing Sunday for the bag of air and the listing ended just hours later "because the item is no longer available."

It was unclear whether the bag sold for its $4,599.99 asking price.

The bag bears Bryant's purported signature along with an explanation that the air was from Bryant's final game with the Los Angeles Lakers April 13 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Bryant scored 60 points during the game.

The seller said Bryant's autograph "looks authentic," but he admitted the bag was purchased "from a guy off of Craigslist."

The full listing reads:

"Kobe Bryant Last Game Used Bag of Air Signed by Kobe Bryant on April 13th 2016 at Staples Center.I bought this from a guy off of Craigslist.The Autograph looks authentic to me, judge for yourself.This is your chance to own this amazing collectible.The bag reads Kobe Bryant Last Game Used Air Autograph Bag Staples Center 4-13-16 60 pts. Due to the scarcity,I will be accepting reasonable offers only.This is by PayPal only. Good luck bidding."

At least one other bag purporting to contain air from Bryant's final game was posted sans autograph on eBay, but the auction site quickly removed the listing.
