Friendly pelican gets too friendly with top of tour guide's head

WALVIS BAY, Namibia, April 11 (UPI) -- A tourist on a boat ride off the coast of Namibia captured video of a playful pelican landing on a tour guide and climbing on top of his head.

Simone Fick posted a video to Instagram showing the pelican climbing onto the patient tour guide's shoulder before making its way up to the top of the man's head.

"Typical female, always wants to sit on my head," the man jokes.

Fick joked in the video's description that the guide had the pelican on his head "because having a parrot on your shoulder is just too mainstream."
