Police said officials are hoping the discovery was "an isolated incident and/or a freak accident and not some sick prank."

"There's no way anyone in the store would have known about this, but we are encouraging everyone to be cautious with their purchases. It is very sad and scary that this is now something that people have to look out for," the Facebook post said.

"If any similar incidents occur please report them to the local Police Dept. Many people from a vast area shop at these stores, and this in NOT ok. This is our community, this is where people shop for their children. If you see something, say something. anywhere, anytime. Help the Police get this trash off our streets."
