HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., April 4 (UPI) -- An Illinois wildlife removal specialist rescued a great mallard duck that became caught in the front-end of a Prius it collided with while in motion.

The Animal Trackers Wildlife animal removal business in Hoffman Estates posted a video to Facebook showing an employee named Brandon reaching under the grille of the car and pulling out the female duck.

Brandon attempts to give the duck an examination to ensure she isn't injured, but the impatient and apparently unharmed water fowl shakes free of his grip and heads for some nearby water.

"The great mallard duck rescue from a car's bumper grill," the Facebook post read. "She was just minding her own business, flying along, when this Prius came and swallowed her up! Bad car! The only thing injured was her pride, being man-handled by Brandon from Animal Trackers Wildlife Company!"
