Drinkwater said the driver, a local woman, was not seriously injured.
"A sore back and neck but otherwise OK I believe," he wrote in a comment.
Drinkwater told the Daily Post newspaper the woman was "extremely lucky to be alive."
"I was driving towards Trefnant when I saw a car lose control right in front of me -- it was a terrifying sight," he said. "I passed by as the car was spinning in mid air to the side of me."
"It hit my car as it landed," he said. "I stopped and called the ambulance and the lady was taken to hospital as a precaution."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed the driver suffered only minor injuries and was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The cause of the woman losing control of her vehicle was unclear.
