NEWARK-ON-TRENT, England, April 1 (UPI) -- A British squirrel with an unquenchable desire to get into a family's home failed spectacularly when he took a flying leap right into their glass patio door.
Jordan Wdowczyk posted a video to Facebook showing the "slow-mo squirrel fail" that took place Sunday on the patio of his family's home.
The squirrel perches on the back of a patio chair while looking at the people watching it from inside the house.
The animal appears to make a decision and takes a flying leap toward in the inside of the house, but appears surprised to instead collide with the closed glass door.
Wdowczyk said in a comment the squirrel shouldn't have been surprised -- the incident caught on camera was the animal's third failed attempt to jump through the glass.
The shamed squirrel is in good company: A gorilla at an Omaha zoo was caught on camera late last month charging the glass wall of his enclosure in the background of a man's selfie video.
