DESBOROUGH , England, March 29 (UPI) -- A U.K. farmer was able to save the life of a newborn lamb by using a hairdryer to keep it warm.

West Lodge Farm Park shared video of the day and a half old lamb being dried off by the hairdryer after falling into its mother's water bucket.

"Farmer Ed found him this morning sodden and very close to death," they wrote. "He brought him home and used Farmer Mo's hairdryer to bring him back!"

The video shows the baby lamb about 15 minutes after the quick-thinking farmer decided to use the hairdryer to warm up the animal from the freezing water.

A second video shows the lamb seemingly recovered as farmhands prepared to take it back to its mother.

"Look at him now! Back to the farm to be reunited with mum! Happy days," they wrote.
