CHILDERS, Australia, March 24 (UPI) -- An Australian reptile park shared video showing the tense process of wrangling a crocodile to collect her freshly-laid eggs.

The Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo in Childers, Queensland, posted a video to Facebook showing keepers working to capture a powerful croc named Alice from her enclosure so workers could collect her freshly-laid eggs.

"To collect the crocodile eggs safely we have to capture Alice who, at this stage is extremely maternal. This is keeper Neisha Graham's first croc capture," the park's Facebook post read.

The post did not say what keepers planned to do with the eggs after they were collected.
