ALBUQUERQUE, March 24 (UPI) -- A New Mexico woman found her back yard filled with tumbleweeds after strong winds swept across the state.

"My pets can't get out and I don't know how we will ever get this cleaned up," she wrote.

The weeds can be seen piled up alongside and up to the top of a fence on the left side of Clower's property.

Clower pointed out that they have also obstructed a dog door near the back of her home, the weeds also appear to have knocked down several pieces of yard furniture.

On Wednesday Clower responded to a comment suggesting she seek the city's help, saying that they denied her request.

"The city just informed us that it is our problem. They won't help us," she wrote.
