TASMANIA , Australia, March 17 (UPI) -- An Australlian photographer captured video of an adorable baby wombat taking a light jog on a local beach.

Video posted to Facebook by Sean Scott Photography shows the baby wombat, Derrick, running toward Scott as he leads the small animal through the sand.

The baby wombat follows Scott before stopping briefly and allowing him to get a close-up shot. Scott continues to call Derrick forward until the tiny marsupial nestles himself between Scott's shoes.

Derrick is being taken care of by Kate Mooney, who found the wombat. Mooney is known as the "Wombat Lady of Flinders Island," according to Scott.
