The sanctuary said Tora, whose name is an Aboriginal word meaning "and near the creek," weighs in at about 10 ounces and was described in a Facebook post as "very alert and perfectly healthy."
The rescuers said they use hemp oil to lubricate the skin of rescued animals that need to mimic the conditions they would find inside their mother's pouches.
"It is the most natural lubricant and can be used any time on any skin condition with no ill effects," they said in a Facebook comment.
