PERTH, Australia, March 7 (UPI) -- An Australian crab-catching enthusiast posted a video showing how he and his friends manage to go crabbing without a boat -- driving an SUV into the water.

The video, posted to Facebook by Jamie Koric, shows two men riding on the roof of a Toyota Land Cruiser as it drives head-on into Western Australia's Swan River.

The vehicle goes into water nearly deep enough to reach its windows as the men riding atop manage to catch some crabs.

The Land Cruiser returns to dry land, apparently unharmed by its time in the water.

Police said the crab fishermen could face dangerous driving charges if a complaint was filed.
