Motorcyclists have near-miss with road-running bear in Russia

KIROVSK, Russia, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A motorcyclist in Russia shared video of a close call with a bear that ran into the road in front of him and a fellow biker.

The video, filmed by a GoPro camera mounted to one of two motorcyclists riding down a dirt road near Lake Ingozero, in Russia's far north, bordering Finland, shows the pair encounter a bear that ran into the road.

The bear runs out in front of the bikers, who quickly slow down to avoid colliding with the animal.

The animal makes it to the other side of the road and vanishes into the woods as quickly as it appeared.
