Despicable E: Chilean customs seize Minion-shaped ecstasy pills

SANTIAGO, Chile, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Chilean customs officials announced the discovery of 101 Minion-shaped ecstasy pills concealed inside a child's drawing kit shipped from the Netherlands.

The National Customs Service of Chile tweeted photos showing the pills, shaped like the Minions from the Despicable Me and Minions films, seized at Santiago Airport.

The pills were identified as MDMA, a psychoactive drug commonly known as ecstasy or Molly.

Officials said the pills were concealed inside a child's drawing kit and were shipped from the Netherlands with an intended delivery address in Vina del Mar.

Two people, a Chilean national and a man from Argentina, were arrested in Vina del Mar as part of the investigation.
