Massachusetts police find cup full of heroin

CHICOPEE, Mass., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Police in Massachusetts received a report of a plastic cup filled with heroin found alongside a sidewalk.

Chicopee police department shared a photo of the cup to Facebook that was spotted by a passerby.

Police don't believe anyone found the cup before it was reported and encouraged citizens to report strange incidences.

"Thankfully this did not fall into the hands of some innocent kids happening upon it. This is why we always encourage you to report things you see so it can be checked on," they wrote on Facebook.

The clear cup was sealed with a lid and a straw and reportedly contained about 25 packets of heroin.
