RESTON, Va., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Virginia firefighters shared a dramatic video showing the rescue of a frightened dog that fell through the ice of a frozen lake.

Rescuers carefully approach the frightened canine and are eventually able to get their arms around her.

Angel was carried back to shore and reunited with her owner, who said the dog was cold but uninjured by her ordeal.

Firefighters said Angel was out of the water within 10 minutes of the call that brought them to the scene.
