SOMERSBY, Australia, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- An Australian zoo shared video of a dangerously adorable king brown snake taking its first breath after hatching from its egg.

The video, posted to Facebook by The Australian Reptile Park, shows the king brown -- one of the deadliest venomous snakes in the world -- emerging from its shell to breathe for the first time at the Somersby park.

The baby tastes the air with its tongue before opening its mouth wide to pull in oxygen.

"Such a special moment caught by our head of Reptiles & Venom Billy Collett! One of our brand new, freshly hatched king brown snakes taking its very first breath!!!!" the park said.
