MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Minnesota Vikings fans tailgating Sunday's game highlighted the frigid weather by showing how they had to warm their beers by the fire to keep them liquid.

A video shared on Facebook by meteorologist Mark Seidel shows how Minnesota Vikings fans braved minus 10 degree weather for the traditional pre-game tailgate parties outside U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The unfrozen beer failed to bring any luck to Vikings fans -- their team lost to the Seattle Seahawks 10-9.

It's so cold (-10°) at the Vikings tailgate they have to WARM UP their #beer to keep it from freeezing.
