DENVER, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Denver metal band The Anchor released a parody cooking video to raise funds for a fellow metal band following a tour bus accident.

The video posted to YouTube and Facebook shows metalcore vocalist Linzey Rae parodying "The Great Unknown" by The Ghost Inside while providing step-by-step instructions on how to make shepherd's pie.

The video features a wandering cat and a house fire while Rae screams cooking instructions and expresses her love for parmesan cheese and the struggle of choosing home cooked meals over McDonald's.

An Mp3 of the song is also available for purchase on The Anchor's Bandcamp page with all proceeds going to The Ghost Inside, after two of the bands members died in a tour bus accident in El Paso in Nov. 2015.

The video has received more than 500,000 views on YouTube and has been shared on Facebook 13,445 times.
