SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- The mascot for the San Antonio Spurs donned a Batman costume and armed himself with a net to catch a bat flitting around AT&T Center prior to Monday's game.
The Coyote donned a Batman T-shirt and cowl over his mascot costume prior to Monday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and chased after the invading bat with a fishing net.
The performer found swift success and was able to snag the bat in his net.
The Spurs have previously had bat problems at AT&T Center -- most famously when player Manu Ginobili swatted a bat out of the air with his bare hands.
