LAS VEGAS, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- A Las Vegas restaurant seeking to identify a pair of burglars released CCTV footage with added subtitled chronicling the thieves' quest for "tacos."

The Frijoles & Frescas Grilled Tacos restaurant posted the surveillance footage on YouTube along with subtitles and crudely-animated tacos explaining how the thieves were just out to get some tacos.

"Guy wants taco. Restaurant is closed," the opening subtitles read.

The video shows one of the men attempt to break a glass door with a rock just after 3:30 a.m. Dec. 16, but the door doesn't break.

"Sorry, bro," the subtitles say. "Poor guy just wants a taco."

Despite being ribbed by the subtitles for craving tacos, the men appear to have actually been after money, as one of them steals the cash register.

"We take full responsibility for what our tacos cause people to do," the text reads. "Please help us find these guys so we can get them the tacos they rightfully deserve."

The restaurant is asking anyone with information to contact police.
