OMAHA, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- A Nebraska bank robber's crime was nearly over before it began when he was unable to push his way into a pull-only door.
A man and a woman robbed the Security National Bank in Omaha Wednesday morning, but the gun-wielding man appeared to have met his match early in the crime when a CCTV camera caught him struggling for eight seconds to push his way into the unlocked door.
The female robber, who entered before the man, eventually returned to the door to help him enter.
The pair left through the same door, which was marked "push to exit," and appropriately fled in a silver Ford Escape.
The vehicle was later located and determined to be stolen. Police said no one was injured during the robbery.
