DRAPER, Utah, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- Utah firefighters received a dose of holiday help when Santa Claus assisted in evacuating patrons after a fire at a local aquarium.

When the fire broke out on Sunday afternoon, a Unified Fire Authority fire inspector who happened to be playing Santa at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium sprang into action alongside Mrs. Claus.

"We just helped walk everybody down and clear the upper floor with all the employees and getting everybody out," Mrs. Claus, aka Judy Buckley told FOX 13.

About 450 guests and 50 employees were forced to evacuate the aquarium with the help of Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

The fire was extinguished in about an hour, and the aquarium posted on Facebook that the power remained on throughout andnone of the animals were harmed. The aquarium closed for the day and offered refunds to all guests.

The cause of the fire was unknown, but Santa cleared any doubt that his presence was a factor.

"Of course I get asked if our reindeer might have caused the problem," he said, assuring that his team of reindeer remained in the North Pole during the incident.
