ABERDEEN, Scotland, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- A groundskeeper at a Scottish golf course discovered an unusual sight in a sand trap: a live salmon swimming in a puddle.

Dylan Meinen, who works at the Peterculter Golf Club in Aberdeen, posted a video to Facebook showing his bizarre Monday morning discovery.

The video shows a live salmon swimming in a puddle left behind in a 3rd hole sand trap by recent rains.

The heavy rain, dubbed "Storm Desmond," caused flooding in Scotland during the weekend and the salmon was apparently left behind when the water receded.

Meinen said the salmon was rescued from the bunker and released back into the river.
