LONDON, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- The bizarre "condom challenge" going viral on social media is the latest stunt to receive the super slow-motion treatment from YouTube's Slow Mo Guys.

Gavin Free and David Grunchy, Britons known as The Slow Mo Guys on YouTube, posted a video trying their hand at the "condom challenge" -- a social media trend involving participants filling a condom with water and dropping it over someone to make it surround their heads.

Free fills a condom with water and drops it on Grunchy's head as he holds his breath.

The water-filled condom surrounds Grunchy's head, to his apparent surprise.

A slow-motion replay shows how the condom inverts on contact with Grunchy's head, making it appear as if his head is inside the prophylactic.

"It's like a little water beard," Grunchy says on looking at the replay footage.

The pair performed the challenge a second time, this time with free slapping the water-filled condom while it's on Grunchy's head to make the water fly out. Grunchy is left with just the condom covering his head down to his nose.

The final attempt, dropping the condom directly onto Grunchy's face, causes the condom to empty its contents without forming to the man's head.
