MUSTANG, Okla., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma resident captured a photo of an unusual relic of a thawing ice storm -- a speed limit sign that left its imprint on a thin sheet of ice.
The picture, posted to Twitter by @barbiereif, shows a sheet of ice falling from a speed limit sign in Mustang, Okla., and retaining its shape, including the letters and numbers spelling out "Speed Limit 25."
"Ice Storm 2015 has started to melt. Power on, uverse not," the uploader wrote.
Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin has declared a state of emergency for all 77 counties in the state following the weekend's ice storm and ensuing flooding.
