ANKARA, Turkey, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- A video posted online shows a man engaging in the adorable-yet-inadvisable behavior of playing with and hugging a bear.
The video, posted to YouTube, shows the man playing in a stream with the bear next to a waterfall.
The man, who one translation indicates is speaking Turkish, calls to the bear saying, "Come to me, son. Come to me, son" and "Come to me, sweetheart."
After the bear jumps in, the man splashes it with water, and then grabs the animal in a tight hug and kisses it on the head.
The bear appears to be playfully nipping at the man during the encounter, but the thrill-seeking swimmer does not seem to be injured by the animal's jaws.
