Balancing act: 100 women do yoga on 600-foot-high glass bridge

YUEYANG, China, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- More than 100 yoga enthusiasts gathered high above the ground on a transparent bridge in China to perform a synchronized yoga routine.

The yoga session, which was chronicled in camera drone footage, featured more than 100 women in matching yellow tank tops doing various yoga poses on the 1,000-foot-long transparent bridge suspended 590 feet over Hunan Province's Shiniuzhai National Geological Park.

The performance was aimed at promoting healthy and harmonious lifestyles.

Yoga, which first came to China thousands of years ago, has been seeing a modern resurgence in popularity in the country's urban areas.
