DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- The Jetman Dubai stuntmen teamed up with airline Emirates for an aerial show involving the jetpack-riding duo and an Airbus A380 over Dubai.

The stuntmen -- carbon fiber-winged jetpack inventor Yves Rossy and his protege, Vince Reffet -- performed "a carefully choreographed aerial showcase" around the Emirates A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft, over the Dubai skyline in a video posted to YouTube.

The team said it took three months to "diligently plan and coordinate every detail of this project."

A behind-the-scenes video posted to YouTube shows how the Jetman Dubai and Emirates teams prepared for the stunt.

Rossy compared himself and his partner to "mosquitoes" flying in formation with "an eagle or a condor."
