Sea lion takes GoPro on underwater tour in Mexico

MEXICO CITY, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- A group of underwater videographers attached a GoPro camera to a friendly sea lion in Mexico to capture its perspective as it chased fish.

The video, posted to YouTube by Panga MX, shows the curious sea lion getting close to the camera before the crew attached the GoPro to the animal with a chest strap.

The sea lion, which did not seem to mind the camera, gave a unique underwater perspective as he chased after fish and interacted with scuba divers.

Locals said the sea lion has been friendly with humans ever since he was nursed back to health following a suspected shark attack.
