Fishermen find boar swimming four miles offshore

GINOSA, Italy, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- A pair of Italian men fishing four miles offshore shared video of their "absurd" catch -- a boar swimming in the sea.

The video, posted to YouTube by Matteo Andresini, shows the boar repeatedly approach the boat and swim away while the fishermen look on in amused disbelief.

Andresini wrote the fishermen encountered the boar about four miles offshore from Ginosa.

The fisherman said he and his colleagues were eventually able to load the wild pig onto their boat and ferry it back to shore, where it promptly ran into a wooded area.

Andresini labeled the event an "absurd experience."
