HARTENBOS, South Africa, Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Two men fishing from their kayaks off the coast of South Africa captured video of a great white shark testing their nerves by repeatedly circling their boats.
The video, posted to YouTube by user Theuns Botha, shows the curious shark circle and bump the kayaks repeatedly while the two men were out fishing off the coast of Hartenbos.
The video's title says the estimated 13-foot shark "tests kayak anglers' nerves" by circling them.
"The shark seemed way too curious and made it his mission to do a thorough investigation...at the cost of the anglers' comfort," the video's description reads.
The uploader said in a comment the men used the end of a gaff pole to push the shark away from their kayaks while traveling back toward shore.
